This is an extending teak dining table made by the Danish company Gangso Mobler in the 1970s. It has a patterned tile insert in both the main table and the drop leaves. These are not only decorative but useful for hot serving dishes. The table is a rich teak colour with different hues and the tiles are in shades of brown and cream. Each leaf is detachable and hangs via brass hooks. A very versatile table that can be used in three different lengths. In good condition having been stripped and re-polished in a hard wearing lacquer.
Dimensions: Table is 100cm x 80 cm and each leaf is 40cm x 80cm Total extendable length 180cm
The chairs are by Erik Buch for Anderstrup Denmark and are available separately on another listing.
